Adult Group Day Care
Adult Group Day Care "Everyone is so pleasant and nice and they are all willing to help me." "I like to be with people who support me. I'm not sitting at home in my apartment."

Adult day care is available at some of our senior centers. It provides a safe environment and stimulating activities for those whose mental or physical health does not permit them to be alone safely during the day. The program also provides a respite for caregivers.

If you know someone with a memory or mobility problem, or if you are concerned about leaving your loved one alone during the day, adult day care may be able to help.

Participants in adult day care can use senior center transportation to and from the program, and they also join in the congregate meal at lunchtime. Daily activities include art, crafts, games, exercise and special events.
