P.O. Box 210
Canaan, NH 03741
You’ll love visiting the historic Mascoma Area Senior Center (MASC) in the former Indian River Grange Hall in the heart of downtown Canaan. The cozy, wood-paneled dining room is perfect for the daily lunches (M-F) at 12 noon.
“Early birds” drop by any time after 8 a.m. for morning coffee and to visit with old and new friends. The pot is always hot and there’s usually lively conversation in this inviting gathering place; so plan to join us.
More than Lunch: Each weekday, meals are prepared in the MASC kitchen for delivery to homebound neighbors. A trained outreach worker is available by appointment to help individuals with their unique needs. The Mascoma Center’s lift-equipped van provides transportation to the Center or to appointments and/or shopping. Please call ahead to schedule the bus.
The Center also houses The Mascoma Area Food Pantry, open by appointment to all residents of the five-town region.
