Legacy Giving

Legacy Giving
We all enter a time in our life when we need to have documents in place for the distribution of those possessions and assets that we have accumulated over our lifetime. This is best accomplished by having a will or trust that is the roadmap for this distribution. More than you may realize, your will or trust also tells the story of your life and values.

Understandably, you will leave assets to loved ones. As part of your estate plan, you also have the opportunity to include plans for charitable gifts that offer financial benefits (such as reduced income taxes or elimination of upfront capital gains taxes) for you and your family while supporting the future important work of non-profits in our area. As you consider legacy giving as part of your estate planning, we hope you will consider a gift to Grafton County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. (GCSCC). A gift in your will is one of the most effective ways to provide for GCSCC’s future without giving up assets during your lifetime.

If you decide to make GCSCC part of your Legacy plans, please let us know, either by calling Becky Foster, 603-448-4897, ext. 120, or sending her an email at bfoster@gcscc.org .
